Prithwiraj (Raj) Choudhury

Lumry Family Associate Professor

Prithwiraj (Raj) Choudhury is the Lumry Family Associate Professor at the Harvard Business School. He was an Assistant Professor at Wharton prior to joining Harvard. His research is focused on the Geography of Innovation and Work, especially geographic mobility and immobility of knowledge workers in Multinational Firms. In a separate stream of research, he studies how machine learning methods could be applied to research and practice. His research has been published in Organization Science, Strategic Management Journal, Review of Financial Studies, Journal of International Business Studies, Harvard Business Review, among other journals. He was awarded the Emerging Scholar Award by the Academy of Management IM Division and won the Haynes Prize for Most Promising International Business Scholar from the Academy of International Business. He earned his Doctorate from Harvard and has degrees from the Indian Institute of Technology and the Indian Institute of Management.
