EMS is planning to launch an open-source journal. Below are some important details:

• This will be a ZERO submission and ZERO distribution fee journal. In the current open source journal space, authors (or their funding agencies) need to pay to get an article published. In our initiative, neither authors nor readers will pay anything to publish and read articles. In doing so, we are taking one step ahead of the European Plan S initiative.

• Founding Editor-in-Chief: Andrew Delios (Former Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Management Studies) has agreed to lead this initiative and serve as the founding Editor-in-Chief.

• Rest of the things: We are trying to figure out within the EMS' guiding philosophy of "inclusiveness". Please reach out to us if you have suggestions or would like to get involved in any way. You can contact one of the advisors/founders or just email the EMS secretariat (ems@em-society.org).
